Dr. Cecilia Milagros Ramos Bernad, affectionately known as Che to her family and friends, is a passionate dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon dedicated to enhancing beauty and confidence. A true globetrotter, she often embarks on travels with her loved ones, indulging in shopping and sightseeing. These journeys, whether to Manila twice a month or to international destinations like Istanbul and Europe, provide her with rich cultural experiences and fresh perspectives.
As the youngest of five children, Dr. Bernad’s passion for medicine and beauty was sparked by her mother’s playful remarks about her appearance. This led her to pursue dermatology and cosmetic surgery, ultimately earning her mother’s affectionate praise for her transformation.
After graduating from the Cebu Institute of Medicine, Dr. Bernad specialized in dermatology at the Institute of Dermatology in Bangkok, Thailand. She further honed her skills in the United States, training in liposuction, fillers, fat transfer, and soft tissue augmentation. Continuously committed to learning, she regularly attends workshops and trainings worldwide to master the latest techniques in cosmetic surgery, ensuring natural and subtle results for her patients.
Dr. Bernad is a distinguished fellow of several prestigious organizations, including the Philippine Academy of Clinical and Cosmetic Dermatology, the Philippine Academy of Dermatologic Surgery Foundation, Inc., the International Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the Asian-Pacific Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Additionally, she is a Diplomat of the Philippine Society of Cosmetic Surgery.
She owns the CRB Derm Center, with branches in Perpetual Succour Hospital and SM City Cebu, and three other clinics under the Skinplicity brand. Despite managing five clinics, Dr. Bernad visits each one daily, relishing the dynamic environment and the opportunity to connect with her patients and staff.
Balancing her professional and personal life seamlessly, Dr. Bernad’s daily routine includes household chores, attending to her clinics, and performing procedures and surgeries at least once or twice a week. Despite her busy schedule, she cherishes quality time with her family, enjoying movie nights at home, and meets friends for cocktails at least twice a week, appreciating Cebu’s relaxed lifestyle.
For Dr. Bernad, beauty is a passion. She is devoted to helping clients look naturally youthful and beautiful through procedures like facial augmentation with fat transfer, rhinoplasty fillers, and liposuction. Her goal is to achieve stunning results with minimal cost and downtime.
Her patients, primarily from Cebu and nearby provinces, benefit from her commitment to education and setting realistic expectations. Dr. Bernad is married to Juan Antonio Bernad, an executive at Aboitiz Power Corporation, and they have a 24-year-old daughter named May.
